Too bad it’s not going to be a new game… but it’s better than nothing.
Back in December, a Brazilian blog, GamePress talked about a re-release of Burnout Paradise for the first time. Originally, the game launched in 2008 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, followed by a PC port roughly a year later. Back then, they listed March 1 as the release date.
Gematsu reports that the game’s Japanese release date on PlayStation 4 will be March 16 with a roughly 36 dollar price converted from yen, but it’s impossible that Burnout Paradise (which has a tentative name at the moment) will skip the Xbox One in the West. This Brazilian site also mentions the game for the Nintendo Switch as well. That’d be a good idea.
The site took the information from Twitter, where Renka listed the game’s physical launch in the Asian country. And now, we can wait for Electronic Arts to confirm when the open world game, originally developed by Criterion, will arrive outside Japan, so we can prepare to sing along to a certain song that says Take me down to the Paradise City…
