Yesterday, we wrote about the trilogy already, but now, Activision officially revealed it after several leaks and rumors.
So, the publisher FINALLY confirmed Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which, surprisingly, isn’t being developed by Vicarious Visions, as the official press release mentions Toys For Bob, who previously created Star Control. That’s an interesting twist, but regardless, let’s move on…
The price will be 40 dollars/euros, and the release date is indeed September 21 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Gematsu reports that Nintendo UK’s website also listed the game, but it got removed overnight. That means just like Crash, Spyro will also be moving to the Nintendo Switch at one point.
Two videos to wrap up then – aside from the usual reveal announcement, we can take a look at a graphical comparison, too. Two decades mean a lot of visual evolution!
