There will be 20 classic single-seaters to choose from, with vehicles from the 70s and 80s.
Codemasters has released a new video of F1 2018 which shows the cast of classic vehicles that we can control in this racing video game based on the Formula 1 World Championship. Fans of this series will have at their disposal a new class of six iconic vehicles of the 1970s and 1980s, which join the already announced Brawn of 2009 and Williams of 2003, together with the return of vehicles seen last year.
In the end the followers of the Formula 1 saga will have at their disposal 20 classic vehicles . These cars include the legendary McLaren M23D that won the 1976 Championship and Niki Lauda’s Ferrari 312 T2, both seen in the 2013 movie Rush. To them we must add the two winning Lotus cars of the championship: the Lotus 1972 by Emerson Fittipaldi and Lotus 79 by Mario Andretti from 1978.
The Ferrari 312 T4 of 1979, piloted by Jody Scheckter who beat his teammate Gilles Villeneuve in the fight for the title, and the McLaren MP4 / 1B of 1982 piloted by John Watson and Lauda complete this new batch of vehicles of the decades of the 7th and 80th.
Codemasters has also announced that the twelve classic vehicles included in F1 2017 will return in this year’s edition.
