The Spyro trilogy got a few new details.
Although the mistake has been fixed already, the British Spyro: Reignited Trilogy website’s pre-order list had the PC and the Nintendo Switch as well on top of the confirmed PlayStation 4/Xbox One duo. WCCFTech has saved the image, and thus, we can hope that the purple dragon will show up outside Sony’s and Microsoft’s console, too. However, we have a feeling that the PC/Switch duo might get a minor delay if there’s so much secrecy around these versions…
At the San Diego Comic-Con, Activision confirmed that Steward Copeland (who was also the drummer in The Police) is reprising his composer role. He was behind the soundtrack of the Spyro games between 1998 and 2002, which means he’s remastering his old melodies. Don’t worry; you’ll have the option to switch between the old and new soundtrack at any time. The first two videos show some differences. The third video has gameplay, and there are a few images as well.
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is launching on September 21 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC and the Nintendo Switch might get it at a later date.
