Thankfully, not only North America will receive a steelbook for Resident Evil 2 Remake, but Europe as well, and the European version seems to look better than the one across the pond…
Capcom announced on Twitter that Resident Evil 2‘s remade version will be available in a Steelbook Edition on our continent. The difference aside from the visuals will be that while the North American steelbook will be part of a pricier Collector’s Edition, we could get it for a lower price (60 euros), with an Elza Walker costume DLC for Claire (and there are more DLC costumes – they are part of the Deluxe Edition which costs 10 dollars/euros more). The Steelbook Edition will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but in return, we’re not going to get a physical Deluxe version. Meanwhile, the PC users will not only get Denuvo, but also likely no physical release for the game either…
Resident Evil 2 Remake will launch on January 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
