Sony Plans To Make The Move To „The Next Chapter Of Cinematic Story-Telling” On The Next PlayStation! [VIDEO]

Sony is hiring for an unannounced, third-person AAA game… with the goal of „levelling up.”

The job listing can be found here – the Japanese company is looking for a lead character artist for a game that would be „the next chapter of cinematic storytelling.” Don’t forget that Sony is decent in this genre – The Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War, and Spider-Man are all similar in genre, and they all have emphasised storytelling. But what could this unannounced game be? An Uncharted-spinoff but for the next PlayStation console? (Don’t forget; with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Nathan Drake’s story is over.)

Sony‘s French arm has made a recap video for 2018. They had a lot of successful games on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR (or had them available on PS4 as well), and many of them are in the video, too. To name a few: Spider-Man, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Beat Saber, Moss, Astro: Bot Rescue Mission.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
