PlayStation Plus: The December Line-Up

The PlayStation 5 is now available in all major markets, so the question is reasonable: will those who acquired a new console get something extra, or will they have to wait a bit more?

Until November 30, Monday, you still have the November games that you can access if you have a PlayStation Plus subscription. The PlayStation 4 users can get Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, as well as Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, while on PlayStation 5, you can pick up Bugsnax (which will still be available until January 4!), as well as the PlayStation Plus Collection (which offers PlayStation 4 titles; the Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios games include Bloodborne, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, InFAMOUS: Second Son, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered, Until Dawn, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End; while the third-party games are the following: Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, Monster Hunter: World, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 5, and Resident Evil 7 biohazard.)

But what will we get in December? The first game for those who own a PlayStation 4 (or a PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility) can access Worms Rumble, an arena-based, cross-platform worm fight (which will launch on December 1, making it a PS Plus launch a la Rocket League – the PS Blog mentions it as a PS5 title, yet the trailer embedded on their page says PS4, go figure). The second game to end the year with is going to be Just Cause 4. And yes, there is a third game this month: it’s EA-published Rocket Arena, a TPS that came out this July on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Also, on December 19 and December 20, there will be a free online multiplayer weekend, so if you do not have a PlayStation Plus subscription, you can experience how the online is on PS4 or PS5. The PlayStation 5 users can still access Bugsnax and the PlayStation Plus Collection.

We expected a bit more by Sony to end the year with, as Just Cause 4 isn’t necessarily a memorable title in the series, but they at least give us a free multiplayer weekend.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
