DIRT 5, Elite Dangerous, Superhot: Mind Control Delete – just three bigger names that will join the subscription service that most of us just calls Game Pass.
Microsoft announced what the Game Pass’ second update of the month will bring. On February 18, Code Vein (PC), Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition (cloud and console – Xbox Series, Xbox One, indie title – ID@Xbox), and Wreckfest (console, cloud, PC) will join the service, followed by Killer Queen Black (console, cloud, ID@Xbox) on February 23 and DIRT 5 (console, PC, cloud), Elite Dangerous (console), and Superhot: Mind Control Delete (PC, ID@Xbox) on February 25, respectively. Microsoft also reminds us that via the cloud, Monster Hunter: World is also available in the service.
Let’s not forget about those titles that depart Game Pass either. On February 24, DiRT 4 (console), and on February 28, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight (console, PC), Mother Russia Bleeds (PC), Oxenfree (console, PC), The Jackbox Party Pack 4 (console), and Vambrace: Cold Soul (console, PC) will hop off Game Pass.
From February 18, „[Xbox Game Pass] Ultimate members will have new ways to play this seven cloud-enabled games via their Android devices with fully customized Xbox touch controls!” These games are Bridge Constructor Portal, Morkredd, Neoverse, Nowhere Prophet, Spiritfarer, The Little Acre, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. There are upcoming DLC and updates, too. Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen will be available until May 11, Fallout 76: Fasnacht Parade will be active until February 22, Microsoft Flight Simulator got its new update featuring the United Kingdom and Ireland; from February 24, we’ll see Minecraft Dungeons: Flames of the Nether DLC and 10 Million Players Celebration. There’s also Moving Out: Movers in Paradise DLC from February 25, and State of Decay 2: Toward Brighter Days will be available until March 1.
There are also Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks (you can „visit the Perks gallery on your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One consoles, Xbox App on Windows 10 PCs, or the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android”). Rogue Company has the Xbox Season One Starter Pack, and Path of Exile’s Gothic Armor Set will be available from February 18. There are several dozens of Xbox Game Pass Quests, too. Microsoft named two of them (for 25 points, play Control; for 50 points, get five stealth kills in Dishonored 2).
Not a bad update.
