World of Warcraft players can soar to new heights in the Dragon Isles when Dragonflight launches in November.
World of Warcraft has finally revealed the release date for Dragonflight. Players can take to the skies on November 28, 2022, to discover what the new World of Warcraft expansion offers.
Dragonflight will take World of Warcraft players to the fabled Dragon Isles – the home of the dragon species.
World of Warcraft’s ninth expansion pack includes five new zones, ten new levels and a new race-class combo: the dracthyr Evoker. The exploration-based expansion adds a wealth of new content and systems, including revamped talent trees and dynamic Dragonriding flying backs.
The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight beta is currently underway and will likely continue until closer to the expansion’s release date. As it gets closer, more of the expansion’s content will make its way to the public test area so that players can experience the content early. In addition, World of Warcraft has announced that the Winds of Wisdom experience buff will return on October 4 and will last until Pre-Patch. Players can expect this 50% XP boost to be available for approximately three weeks.
Given Blizzard’s reluctance, some players already feared that Dragonflight would be delayed until 2023. It seems these players can rest easy knowing that the new addition is less than two months away from the official release. Details of the beta have mainly been positive, and players have high hopes for the latest World of Warcraft release.
However, there are still those who are worried that Dragonflight will still not be ready for its November release.
The expansion was first announced earlier this year, leading many to fear that World of Warcraft is releasing an unfinished product. Despite this, the World of Warcraft development team has stated that they have been working on Dragonflight for years in parallel with Shadowlands and that the game has had a complete development cycle.
