Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment didn’t wait until The Game Awards to announce the exact date for the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel.
However, whatever got leaked got quickly wiped, but the release date, the system requirements, and what pre-orderers and Deluxe Edition purchasers will get for the game briefly showed up on Steam. Let’s start with the system requirements:

- Operating system: Windows 10 x64 (no version number mentioned).
- Processor: 4 cores/8 threads; Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics card: 8 GB VRAM; Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 580, or better
- DirectX: DX12
- Broadband Internet connection (due to EA’s DRM and Denuvo, but these weren’t mentioned)
- Free storage: 130 GB

130 GB for a single-player game? It’s mind-boggling. And how much of that will the scenes take up? Here’s more information from the game’s Steam page: “The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up five years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order events and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times—but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?
No longer a Padawan, Cal has become his own and become a mighty Jedi Knight. Carrying the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order with him, his crusade against the Empire has only become more perilous. If you pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s standard edition, you’ll receive the Obi-Wan Kenobi-inspired Jedi Survival cosmetic pack (Hermit cosmetic kit, Hermit lightsaber set, Combustion blaster set). The Deluxe Edition of the game will also include the Han Solo and Luke Skywalker-inspired (Star Wars: A New Hope) cosmetic items: the Galactic Hero cosmetic pack (Scoundrel cosmetic kit, Rugged BD-1 cosmetic, DL-44 blaster set) and the New Hero cosmetic pack (Rebel Hero cosmetic kit, BD-Astro cosmetic for BD-1, Rebel Hero lightsaber set).
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on March 16, which is in the current fiscal year.
