MOVIE NEWS – The world-famous actor, Lance Reddick passed away on March 17 at the age of 60. According to TMZ, his death certificate states that he died of ischemic heart disease. However, the family does not let it go and denies this claim through their lawyer.
James Hornstein, the family’s legal representative, issued a statement saying that Reddick’s wife, Stephanie Day never confirmed the information published by TMZ. Moreover, he added that no autopsy was performed on the actor, so the exact cause of his death is still unknown. Hornstein said that Reddick’s lifestyle was completely incompatible with such a serious heart disease, as he regularly exercised and ate healthily.
Lance Reddick was best known for his roles in the series The Wire and Fringe, but he also appeared in Oz, Lost and Bosch. He also showed his talent on the big screen, for example in the John Wick movies and Angel Has Fallen. He was also famous for his voice acting skills, as he lent his voice to several animated films and video games.
The actor’s death shocked the industry and the fans alike. Many of his colleagues and friends paid tribute to him on their social media pages, praising his professionalism and human greatness. Reddick was buried in Los Angeles with his family.
