Valve Has Released A New Steam Deck Update – Here Are The Details!

TECH NEWS – Valve has unveiled a new update to the Steam Deck Client that fixes various issues and brings quality improvements to the handheld.

Valve has released the latest Steam Deck Client update. It comes about a month after the last one, which brought several improvements to Valve’s handheld client.

Players with large Steam game libraries should now encounter fewer bugs when browsing their backlog. They can now do this by sorting games by date on shelves and grids. Players with custom controller inputs can copy and paste their assignments. The developer console displays timestamps in the Steam console window. There is a new in-game setting to enable or disable display scaling in the overlay when Steam Deck is used in desktop mode.

This SD update will allow players to continue enjoying their games on Valve’s handheld device without experiencing some of the issues reported in recent months.

Thanks to improved stability, players can try new games on Steam Deck, such as The Last of Us Part 1 and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The latter has been officially labelled Steam Verified. More games will be added to Deck in the coming months. Valve is regularly adding new games to the library.

This Steam Client update brings various stability improvements and enhancements to SD. The console has been facing more and more competition lately. Everyone is trying to do their part in the handheld console gaming market. Several devices are entering this competitive market, such as the Ayaneo KUN, the Lenovo Legion Go and the Asus ROG Ally. Despite the growing number of competitors, Deck remains the best choice for most PC gamers looking for a handheld device to play their favourite games.
