Batman Will Have A Special Appearance In Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League!

Rocksteady brings back the Dark Knight, with Batman still vigilant in his detective sensibilities…

We are definitely counting down the days until the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game generated a community of detractors due to its game-as-a-service concept. But the reality is that after the numerous slip-ups, we are at least eagerly awaiting the final product. For a project in which those who don’t know, Rocksteady involved Batman, who will appear with a fascinating detail highlighting the hero’s cunning.

By now, it’s hard not to know that the British team’s Suicide Squad, their first game in over five years, stars the villainous quartet of Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang and Deadshot.

However, as the name suggests, the Justice League is disguised as puppets under Brainiac’s mind control. However, this does not stop the Dark Knight from being a born detective.

Impressions of the game following the latest pre-release hands-on show left the project in no man’s land. However, the gameplay revealed an interesting detail that we can’t ignore: Batman will always be watching from above and from afar. At various points in the trailers shared by the media, and apparently, during the multiplayer test last December, the dark knight was seen watching the movements of the Suicide Squad.

Although Batman is part of Brainiac’s plan, it’s clear that the alien android’s strategy is to use Bruce Wayne’s abilities to gather information about the team in order to confront them.

In fact, this is not unknown to the character. Let’s just think back to the Justice League comic book Tower of Babel, which was published in the 2000s. The latter reveals that the Dark Knight plans to neutralize the team members if someone steps out of line.

The unmistakable Kevin Conroy will once again play the character. He has been the character’s original voice since Batman: The Animated Series and was rehired by Rocksteady to voice the “Night Lord” version. But the game Suicide Squad is the last work of the actor. Conroy passed away in 2022, but he managed to voice the character one last time.

The British team, therefore, decided to honour him with a plaque bearing his name in the game. They did the same for actress Arleen Sorkin’s original voice of Harley Quinn. She passed away in August 2023. All this is a lovely tribute from the developers.
