Microsoft’s subscription service is about to expand again, and one of the coming games has already been confirmed by the Redmond-based company well in advance; this first swallow comes from a new publisher that was recently acquired.

Lightyear Frontier (still in development, so it’s part of the Game Preview program; Xbox Series, PC, cloud) and MLB The Show 24 (console, i.e. Xbox One, Xbox Series; cloud) are already available. Today is The Quarry (console, cloud), followed by Evil West (console, PC, cloud) tomorrow, Terra Invicta (Game Preview; PC) on the 26th, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged (console, PC, cloud), Open Roads (console, PC, cloud; Game Pass debut, i.e. new release), and the previously announced Diablo IV (console, PC; more Activision Blizzard titles to come) on the 28th. On April 1, Ark: Survival Ascended (Xbox Series, PC, cloud) and on April 2, Superhot: Mind Control Delete (console, PC, cloud; returning to Game Pass) and F1 23 (cloud; EA Play) will arrive on the service.

As a reminder, Microsoft has released NBA 2K24 (console, cloud). In terms of DLC and updates, the Redmond company announced two: Fallout 76: America’s Playground and The Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia. The latter will be available to Game Pass subscribers at a 10% discount, and yes, interestingly, both are Bethesda games (and that publisher is also Microsoft…).

There are three benefits to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Persona 3 Reload will get you the Expansion Pass for free, Super Animale Royale will get the Spring Perks Pack, and Smite will get the Netherbeasts Perk. Finally, there are three games that will be leaving on March 31st. They are Hot Wheels Unleashed (console, PC, cloud; with the second part coming to the service on the 28th, the move is understandable), Infinite Guitars (console, PC, cloud), and MLB The Show 23 (console, cloud; again, this year’s installment is coming in its place).

Quite a strong update.
