MOVIE NEWS – In anticipation of its highly awaited debut next year, Marvel Studios has unveiled the first official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.

The newly released trailer features Charlie Cox returning as Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil. The trailer teases a tense dinner confrontation between Daredevil and Kingpin, a scene where the Punisher aggressively slams Daredevil into a locker, a variety of Daredevil masks on display, and our hero taking down an overwhelming number of adversaries.

Marvel Studios initially announced plans for a new Daredevil series in May 2022, but the show’s official title was kept under wraps until its reveal at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in July 2022. Cox has previously played Daredevil in several Marvel productions, including the Netflix series Daredevil, which had a three-season run, as well as The Defenders, Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo. Additionally, Cox will lend his voice to the character in the forthcoming animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (formerly titled Spider-Man: Freshman Year).

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again is set to have 18 episodes. However, Marvel seems to have long-term plans for the series, as actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who returns as Kingpin, revealed in an interview with Newsweek in March 2023 that a second season is already in the works.
