So Lords of the Fallen was published nearly five years ago by CI Games, formerly known as City Interactive. It was a passable Souls-clone, which was developed by Deck13, who then moved on to work on The Surge, which came out in 2017 - it was an alright futuristic Souls-clone, published by Focus Home Interactive. (The German dev team is now working on the sequel.) So they aren't working on Lords of the Fallen 2
