A perfect way to start the New Year is to announce new characters from two of the most awaited fighting games of 2015! First a Finnish magazine revealed the return of Kung Lao to Mortal Kombat X and now Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada has announced a brand new character for the game named “Shaheen.”

Hailing from Saudi Arabia, details on the newcomer (who looks very much like Omar Borkan in the picture above) are insufficient at best, but from the picture below he is clearly a departure from any of the series’ past characters.
