Yooka-Laylee came, saw and is conquering

It’s – pardon for the pun – Rare to see a Kickstarter campaign to reach its initial goal in 40 (no typo there, it’s forty!) minutes. However, Playtonic Games made it happen. The team is formed by former Rare employees, who have worked on Banjo-Kazooie as well previously. Now, they are working on Yooka-Laylee – the game was formerly called Project Ukulele.

It’s going to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U as well, as the game is a measly 23 thousand British Pounds away from the 1 million target, with 45 days remaining, so it’s pretty much impossible to see it not happening.
Here’s a small video from the game:

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
