Dante is the typical manga, or anime hero, and according to rumors Hideki Kamiya, the series’ creative director based the design off of the manga series called Cobra. Kamiya gave Dante a slick and stylish coat, and dressed him in red, as in Japan that is the main color of the heroes. The macho super hero says sentences that are according to Kamiya are said by the Brits. Although I think the dear Japanese producer watched too much James Bond. One thing is for sure, Dante’s character is not popular in Japan, but across the world, and he is the very definition of a cool video game hero.
