Mafia 3 to be announced soon?

Mafia isn’t really a franchise, that sees an annual release: the first game was released on the PC back in 2002, followed by a PlayStation 2 and Xbox port two years later. The sequel came to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 six years later, in 2010. However, it seems that the Czech 2K studio is secretly developing the third title already, which hasn’t been even announced in any shape or form yet. It might change soon, though…

Take 2, the publishers have registered no less than four domains, which already can give you the suspicion about what they are up to. 2K Czech (the devs behind the first two titles) are probably working on Mafia 3 already. The domains were registered on June 25, so we can expect an official announcement very soon, because they can’t keep it back for long. If they follow the six-year gap between the console release of the first two games, then we can expect Mafia 3 to show up on the PS4 and the Xbox One in 2016.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
