Are you waiting for a Dying Light expansion? Well, we’ve got news for you!

Dying Light has been out for roughly half a year now, but Techland – the creators of the first Dead Island game – isn’t leaving their own interpretation of a zombie apocalypse behind that easily. They announced an expansion, which is called The Following. It’s going to update the game in a slightly different way compared to other games.

During last week, there was a teaser hidden into the Half a Year with Dying Light video, which turned out to be a new addition in The Following, and this would be the drivable buggys. The map will be the same size as all the previous maps combined together, while the story is going to have a big focus on it as well. Techland’s aim is to give the game a brand new flavour with the expansion.

It’s going to be presented to the press behind closed doors during Gamescom, with a public presentation following later. For Season Pass holders, The Following will be free of charge.
