The PlayStation 4 ruled the month of July as well

In the United States for the month of July, unsurprisingly, Sony‘s PlayStation 4 was the most sold console, but it also managed to take the lead for the game sales as well, because the „blue side’s” console received the most sold copies in the previous month.

Again, Sony says this success was because the Batman Arkham Knight bundle, which was sold over 120 thousand copies just in the month of June (beating the record in the process, which will likely be crushed in our opinion by the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain bundle, launching on September 1), but they think September will be a great month because of the Destiny: The Taken King PS4 bundle as well, likely to continue the successful story.

We predict that August and September will be easy pickings for Sony, but October and November is likely to be won by Microsoft, because Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider (the latter one seeing the PlayStation 4 only in November 2016) will launch, but we may never know how the market will go in the future. However, a bigger duel is likely to happen, whoever may win these timeframes
