Are you fed up with the life of the DualShock 4’s battery? Here’s a solution

Although the PlayStation 4 is a great console and the DualShock 4 is an okay controller as well, there is one weak point to this equation: the battery life is quite weak on the controller. The battery doesn’t have a big battery life and the controller quickly reaches the recharging required status, as it only has a 1000 mAh battery, resulting in a charge after just a few hours of usage.

However, in case you have around 3 British pounds (and this includes postage!), you can easily pick a 2000 mAh battery up, which instantly doubles up the battery life of DualShock 4. You don’t even have to do much to replace the battery: open up the back of the controller, unplug the factory battery and simply plug in the new battery. This isn’t a difficult task to do, with a few minutes of work, you can easily save time and money as you have to put the DS4 less times onto the charger.

For this price, you also get a spare USB charging cable, which can always come in handy if the original one disappears and can’t find it quickly. In case you want one (and this isn’t even a discounted price), you can pick one up here – as it has the same specs as the original battery, you don’t have to worry about incompatibility: LINK
