Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – Release date and special editions announced

Naughty Dog finally set a concrete release date for the PlayStation 4-exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The release date is March 18, 2016. This announcement was topped off by announcing no less than three special editions for the Nathan Drake finale. One of them is a digital-only affair, but still, it makes four separate released versions for the game, which is quite a lot.

The most expensive one of the lot is the 120 USD Libertaria Collector’s Edition, which will come with these as exclusive items:

  • A 12″ premium Nathan Drake statue by Gentle Giant
    • Three multiplayer outfits: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Heist Drake, and Desert Drake outfits
    • Two custom weapon skins: Golden Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin
    • Henry Avery Sigil ball cap
    • Madagascar Sidekick outfits

There’s also going to be an 80 USD Special Edition, which will come with these items:

  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Blu-ray Disc
    • Collectible Steelbook case designed by Alexander “That Kid Who Draws” Iaccarino
    • 48-page hardcover art book by Dark Horse and Naughty Dog
    • Naughty Dog & Pirate Sigil sticker sheet
    • Naughty Dog Points: A pack of in-game currency to unlock various multiplayer content

However, the Liberatria Collector’s Edition will include everything from the Special Edition as well. There is also going to be a digital-only, Digital Deluxe EDition, for 80 dollars, which will come with these:

  • A digital copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
    • Uncharted 4 Triple Pack: Includes future access to the first-ever, single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series and two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items (it’s available separately too, for 20 dollars)
    • Instant unlock of two multiplayer customization items

There are going to be quite a few extra items, as it seems. We’re happy for the release date though!
