A day 1 patch is bigger than the base game – It happened!

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Activision didn’t even bother to send out any review copies. This usually means that the game is a piece of … unworthy pile of program code to purchase. We’re not hoping anything about the quality either. Either? There’s another reason to be worried about this game, and that would be the day one patch.

This is happening regularly nowadays, but you don’t really see a patch being bigger than the ACTUAL GAME. This is dead serious: THPS 5 on PlayStation 4 takes 4.6 gigabytes for the base game, but the patch itself is 7.7 gigabytes. What…?! That is incredible to see what Activision and Robomodo are doing. If we remember correctly, THPS HD took around 1-2 gigabytes at most, and compared to that game, 5 seems to have improved in absolutely nothing. After this, stop even thinking about making another game, Robomodo. Will we even review this game? Not likely…
