Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – Where is Golden Abyss?

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – which is under our knife at the moment, and you can read our review of it tomorrow! – will contain the three PlayStation 3 games, but there were plans to include a fourth game, namely Golden Abyss from the PlayStation Vita. The question arises: where is Uncharted: Golden Abyss from the collection?

Arne Meyer, PR guy at Naughty Dog, said that the devs were actually considering to include all four games in the collection, but the three PlayStation 3 games act as a perfect narrative leading up the 4th main game coming in 2016, and Golden Abyss wouldn’t have fit into it. About multiplayer: despite TNDC only having a beta testing opportunity for Uncharted 4 in December 2015 and no multiplayer segments in the three games, you can still play 2’s and 3’s multiplayer on PS3Naughty Dog doesn’t want to shut them down any time soon.

The Nathan Drake Collection is going to take 44.5 gigabytes of space on your hard drive, which is respectable! Three games! Seeing how the PS3 original of Uncharted 3 took 48 gigabytes (with most of them being pre-rendered cutscenes), it’s not bad. Even if there is going to be a day-1 patch, it should be still a respectable size, isn’t it?

Make sure to check back tomorrow for our review, dear reader!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
