Grand Theft Auto for the PlayStation 3? No, not GTA V, but…

Despite getting closer and closer to its tenth birthday, the PlayStation 3 is still used worldwide by many every day. Grand Theft Auto V – released in the autumn of 2013 – was one of the last hurrahs for the PS3. That launch date was just barely two months before the launch of the current-gen consoles. (And because that, it’s not surprising to see the game ported over to the PS4/X1.) However, there’s been another GTA game launch recently on the good old PS3!

We can return to the city of Los Santos because Grand Theft Auto San Andreas launched yesterday on the PS3. The funny thing is that Rockstar‘s game has a physical version as well! Interesting… it looks like CJ and his crew has to reap some money for one last time.

Don’t forget that Grand Theft Auto San Andreas received an HD port for the Xbox 360 too in 2014, so this PS3 step was expected to happen. Sadly, this 720p release lacks several songs from the soundtrack, so we’re not getting the same experience as seen on the PS2. Those pesky music licensing can be a problem after all.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
