Guitar Hero Live – Avenged Sevenfold takes over

This autumn, we saw the return of two music game franchises, namely Rock Band and Guitar Hero. The latter’s latest installment – Live – is seen more in the news after the release. FreeStyleGames‘ Guitar Hero Live returns into the spotlight because of a band taking over Guitar Hero TV.

They’re going to have a program called A7X Rock Classics, and it features exclusive footage of the band talking about and introducing some of their all-time favorite songs.

The show features songs from artists including Pantera, Megadeth, AFI, Bob Dylan, Boston, Queensryche, Tenacious D, Faith No More, Deftones, Weezer and more, and will broadcast on GHTV channel 1 at the following times:

  • Wednesday, Dec. 23rd at 9:30 am and 6:00 pm Pacific,
  • Thursday, Dec. 24th at 2:00 am, 10:00 am and 8:30 pm Pacific,
  • Friday, Dec. 25th at 4:30 am, 12:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 9:30 pm Pacific,
  • Saturday, Dec. 26th at 5:30 am, 9:30 am, 7:30 pm and 11:00 pm Pacific,
  • Sunday, Dec. 27th at 7:30 am, 11:00 am and 7:00 pm Pacific,
  • Monday, Dec. 28th at 3:00 am, 11:00 am and 5:30 pm Pacific,
  • Tuesday, Dec. 29th at 1:30 am and 9:30 am Pacific.

Also, the band’s premium show will return to GHTV. This will have playable songs for us like Shepherd of Fire, Buried Alive, and Nightmare. Also, Activision will also be giving away guitars signed by the band and Avenged Sevenfold albums and merchandise on the Guitar Hero social media channels.
