Titanfall‘s sequel isn’t going to be just a game: Respawn Entertainment has struck a deal with Lionsgate TV (Duck Dynasty, anyone?) to produce a TV-series spinoff for the mech shooter! This might be an interesting cooperation – it can either be a huge success or a major failure, we have to see it for ourselves.
There’s another news regarding Titanfall 2, too: Jesse Stern, the lead writer of the game, said to Forbes Magazine that there won’t be just multiplayer in the sequel. There’s going to be a single player campaign that’s „grounded, dirty, human and real” – the first game didn’t have one due to lack of resources. (At least, they have realized one of the flaws of the first Titanfall game – it’s a step towards evolution.)
The release date is also starting to take shape: Titanfall 2 has to be out in the next fiscal year. That means the game will be out by March 31, 2017, and it won’t be out on just the Xbox One and PC as Titanfall 2 will also be available for the PlayStation 4 as well.
