Psychonauts 2’s team expands further

Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions managed to sign a veteran to work on Psychonauts 2. The move to Double Fine might be weird as this person signed over to them from Harmonix. Who is this new employee of Double Fine Productions?

We’re talking about Zak McClendon, who will start work as lead designer on Psychonauts 2. His resume lists work on such games as BioShock 2 and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified at 2K Marin, Rock Band 4 at Harmonix and Project Snowblind at Crystal Dynamics – he’s had decent games to work on. McClendon announced his move on his Twitter page – it looks like this kind of announcements are becoming more and more common on this social platform, aren’t they?

Psychonauts’ sequel was announced last December, and Tim Schafer mentioned a few details of the story in January. We don’t know when exactly the game will hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but it’s supposed to arrive before the end of 2018.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
