Call of Duty 2016: a major leak?

It looks like the UK-based GamesTM magazine is going to get a major kick in their ass by Activision for publishing information about this year’s Call of Duty game that should have been kept confidential. Did someone talk about Infinity Ward‘s game perhaps a little too early?

GamesTM’s „2016 Most Wanted Games” lists one suspicious name. It’s Call of Duty Ghosts 2! Well then… Infinity Ward seems to continue 2013’s Ghosts instead of providing the players with the fourth Modern Warfare episode in the autumn game rush. Oh yeah, the game is out in November.

Activision is now set between a rock and a hard place: if the publisher waits too much with the official announcement, everyone will know about Ghosts 2 by the time Acti reveals the game. Also, remember how we found out that Battlefield 5 might be coming with a World War I setting?

Intriguing situation: if GamesTM wrote about CoD too early, then EA has to talk about DICE’s Battlefield 5 as well shortly.
