PlayStation 4 3.50 update: we can stream the PS4 on new platform!

Sony leaves behind its handhelds in a very aggressive manner. The PlayStation Portable‘s PS Store access will be cut off in a month in North America and there are no more shipments of the PSTV for NA and Europe either. There’s another point of Sony focusing only on consoles.

We got some new details about the upcoming 3.50 firmware (codenamed Musashi). We can receive notifications if our friends log on and we can also appear as offline if we want to do so. We can set up user scheduled events, too: scheduling a gameplay session will put the other members automatically added to the party, plus we can also see what the other persons are playing so we can join them quickly.

We can also stream to a new website as well: the PlayStation 4 is now able to stream to Dailymotion. We saved the best for last: Remote Play. New platforms receive the support: we will be able to use our PCs or Macs for Remote Play! That means we can play Bloodborne on our computer.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
