Homefront: The Revolution Comes With A Creative Extra!

Eurogamer discovered an interesting bonus in the upcoming Homefront sequel. They found out that you can play the Chicago and Siberia levels from Timesplitters 2!

You have to find an arcade cabinet in the Philadelphia prison – if you manage to find it, you can get to play the previously mentioned two levels from the 2002 FPS that launched on PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. Let’s admit it: Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios pulled a wonderful idea out of their hat! (We need to point out that Dambuster was mainly formed of ex-Free Radical Design members. They were the team behind the Tiimesplitters games!)

Homefront was saved by Deep Silver when THQ went bankrupt, selling their older franchises. We’re going to be eager to see how they continue the story of North Korea attacking the United States. We’ll find it out in one and a half months as Homefront: The Revolution will launch on May 17 on the PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / PC triumvirate.

We’d appreciate a Timesplitters sequel as well.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
