A US Congressman And $1300 Charge On Games

Campaign funds are to be taken seriously in the United States. If you are a politician, you can receive money from the Federal Election Commission to fund your political campaign. However, someone might have done something else!

Republican Party member Duncan Hunter is now in trouble – it seems he spent 1302 dollars on games on Steam. The congressman defends himself by saying it was his son that got access to his credit card that ended up getting him into 68 different charges. Hunter did register the 1302-dollar charge in his disclosure as a personal expense – to be paid back. He didn’t pay so far.

Hunter received a letter from the FEC, and he has until May 9 to respond. Hunter himself is someone in the Congress that not only defends vaping but also video games as well. (At least, he has common sense!) He believes parenting is the issue and not the games behind the violence.

We’d still like to know how his son got his credit card and what he bought on Steam?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
