Dark Souls III: Sad Affleck and Dark Souls? [VIDEO]

Namco Bandai chose a different way to hype their upcoming game. They tied together FromSoftware‘s action-RPG with a movie interview, and the result is the Twitter video below featuring Sad Affleck himself, too!

The publisher took the Batman v Superman interview with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. Originally, the two actors were asked about the harsh critical reviews of the movie they participated in. Namco Bandai decided to edit this video further and feature Dark Souls footage to make the video look like Affleck and Cavill talk about FromSoftware‘s new title, when in reality, they didn’t!

The Sad Affleck thing has become a meme, and we can see it in the video below as well. This idea is something different from them, and we can’t say a single bad word about that. Great job.

Dark Souls III launches in the west on Tuesday on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Until then, we dig our graves because we will probably die a hundred times while playing through the game.
