The World of Harry Potter returns in the Fantastic Beasts Trailer!

MOVIE NEWS – Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stopped by the MTV Movie Awards tonight to expose the very first trailer for the movieFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.

More than two months has passed since any kind footage was shown from the Harry Potter prequel: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Thankfully we can now take a new glimpse at this long-awaited journey. Star Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt Scamander, appeared at the MTV Movie Awards, where he showed some never-before-seen scenes of the magical world crafted by J.K. Rowling. Warner has scheduled the movie for an international release in both 2D and 3D (IMAX) on November 18, 2016.

Eddie Redmayne took the central role of wizarding world “Magizoologist” Newt Scamander. David Yates is directing the movie, who was also the director of the last four Harry Potter films. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starts in 1926 when Newt Scamander has just concluded a global excursion to find and record an astonishing collection of magical creatures.

Coming to New York for a brief halt, he might just left the town without any unpleasant incident… were it not for Jacob, a No-Maj (American for Muggle), also a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Other actors of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them includes Colin Farrell (True Detective) as Percival Graves, Tony Award winner Dan Fogler (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as Jacob; Katherine Waterston (Steve Jobs, Inherent Vice) as Tina; Queenie; two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton (In America, Sweet and Lowdown) as Mary Lou; Ezra Miller (Trainwreck) as Credence; Alison Sudol (Dig, Transparent) as Tina’s sister, Oscar winner Jon Voight (Coming Home, TV’s Ray Donovan) as Henry Shaw, Sr.; Ron Perlman (the Hellboy films) as Gnarlack; Carmen Ejogo (Selma) as Seraphina; Jenn Murray (Brooklyn) as Chastity; and the young beginner Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty.

J.K. Rowling also wrote the script, which is actually her first screenwriting. If you lived under a rock so far: it’s her beloved Harry Potter books, which were adapted into the top-grossing movie franchise of all time.

Her script was actually inspired by the Hogwarts textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by her very own character Newt Scamander. The film reunites some people from the Harry Potter features, including producers David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, which was home to the Harry Potter films for a decade. Some scenes were also shot on location in Liverpool, England. Let’s take a glimpse at the latest material for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and also stay tuned on PS4Pro for more footage and photos as we inch closer and closer to its release next November.
