This Is What Happens If You Cheat In Overwatch!

A lot of multiplayer-focused titles have players that try to get an unfair advantage that isn’t based on their skills. Instead, they would cheat. If you’re a PC player, you probably hear the terms „wallhack,” „aimbot.” Nowadays, games are mostly multiplatform, and Blizzard has to make some hard decisions.

The developers of Overwatch announced that on first notice, cheaters will be banned for life if they are caught using cheats to win. Blizzard has done two widespread bans in their previous games: in 2012, Diablo III saw players getting kicked out, followed by a Hearthstone „cleansing” two years later. It seems Blizzard is applying their banhammer every two years, making it a tradition…

Overwatch has had success with its open days. A total of 9.7 million players hopped in and played on the three platforms total (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC). Not a bad result.

The final game is out in stores on May 24.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
