Steam Summer Sale Dates Possibly Leaked?

Valve always started the summer school break many times in a decent way: they have big sales going on in multiple occasions for PC/Mac/Linux players. They also pull a sale off at around that time as well. Here’s a game for half price, another one is 60% off, and so on.

This year’s Summer Sale date is allegedly leaked. It happened last year, too – Valve should finally learn their lesson. Remember 2003? Half-Life 2’s beta was leaked, and we haven’t seen the final game until the end of 2004. The image below – while it has Russian text for the months’ names – you can clearly read that the sale will start on June 23, and it will end on July 4.

Of course, Valve hasn’t confirmed it, and they probably never will, but seeing how the same person (Vyacheslav “MrFreemanBBQ Konchits) has leaked the info as last year on the Russian social network VK, we should probably consider this leak as legitimate information.

That means you have about a month before Mr. Newell grabs a few bucks out of your wallet.
