No Man’s Sky Delayed?

[UPDATE] What Gamestop received was no fluke. Hello Games announced that No Man’s Sky will indeed receive a delay, and they also said when the game will arrive. In North America, it’ll be out on August 9, followed by the European launch on the 10th and the UK start on the 12th, respectively. The reasoning is the usual: „some key moments needed extra polish, and the delay will help deliver something special. ”Let’s look at the delay positively: at least the PS4 and the PC sees a bigger release in early August.

Kotaku provided surprising information from two unnamed sources about the upcoming No Man’s Sky game (here). The day we have written in our calendars can be crossed out, so it is likely that another game has stepped on the delay train.

Hello Games might not be able to keep the June 21 release day, as Gamestop received marketing materials that say that the posters for the game now has invalid information for the release date, so the employees should cover that with a Coming Soon sticker.

That is a disappointing thing to hear, especially if we remember that the game was revealed in 2013. Nor Sony neither Hello Games didn’t comment the delay. Silence is suspicious – something fishy is going on behind the scenes.

When will No Man’s Sky launch then? At the moment, it’s possible that the game will come in July or even in August on PlayStation 4 and PC.
