Until Dawn Devs’ Next Game Could Be Multiplatform!

Supermassive Games has broken up with Sony, terminating the exclusivity contract.

Last summer, Until Dawn was a decent PlayStation 4-exclusive game, so it’s no surprise that there is a PlayStation VR-title for the franchise in development. But Supermassive Games doesn’t want to work only under Sony, and open up to the other platforms as well. The situation is the same as Ready at Dawn’s: after The Order: 1886, they quit and teamed up with Gamestop. We could also point to Remedy as well – they’d like to make a multiplatform game after Quantum Break.

The now-independent Supermassive works on games outside VR, but in a similar style to Until Dawn. They don’t want to keep all their eggs in the VR basket and try to rely on „ordinary” games, too.

Good luck to Supermassive then. Maybe we will see their next project on the Xbox One and the PC as well!
