Battlefield 1‘s shining armor also started to show chinks.

DICE‘s latest game will also be the victim of Electronic Arts‘ DLC stacking. The Battlefield game, which takes us back to World War I, will include the Austro-Hungarian, the British, the German, the Italian, the Ottoman, and the American troops. The list isn’t full, though!

Where are the Russian and the French armies? It’s confirmed that the Russian army isn’t even going to be in the game (?!), while the French group will only be available in DLC format. The lack of France in the base game was explained by „doing justice for the French army by dedicating an entire premium expansion to them.” Still, even if some political leaders don’t like it, perhaps the devs should include everyone for the sake of being historically correct.

So, Electronic Arts will limit the game’s contents when it launches on October 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
