Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – This Is The Plausible Future? [VIDEO]

On the North American PlayStation Blog, Senior Art Director, Brian Horton, talked about this year’s Call of Duty.

Horton says that they tried to make a mixture of the NASA and the Navy, with the result being put into outer space – according to him, this can be a plausible future for the Americans. However, the devs (Infinity Ward) had to take a few steps away from being historically correct, because otherwise, Call of Duty this year might not have been an enjoyable experience. For example, space won’t feel like something you’d experience in the real world. The speed would also be slow, so the grappling hook is being added in the game: not only you can zip through maps quickly, but you can also use it to pull your enemies near you.

Grenades will also be different. They will have a weapon propellant, zooming towards the target, and then blow up. There will also be spider bots: chuck them out, let them connect to the target and watch them explode. Our space suit will dampen the sound in space, but it will still let some of the noises through to keep the experience afloat.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on November 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
