Hawken To Hit Current-Gen Consoles In A Few Days [VIDEO]

Better late than never – the mecha FPS will show up on current-gen consoles shortly.

Hawken‘s open beta launched on PC on December 12, 2012, so a few years have passed since then. However, the game came to a screeching halt between Spring 2014 and March 2015, but the moment Adhesive’s work got into new hands (Reloaded Games took over development and the license), the game started to fly again. It’s coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One under the publishing of 505 Games. The Xbox One gets Hawken on July 1, followed by the PS4 release on July 8.

Over 30 mechs (compared to 18 on Spring 2014!), six game modes, new maps, all in a freemium design. The video below talks about the game’s lore, and it also shows some gameplay footage as well.

The question is that how much of attention will Titanfall 2 take away from Hawken? Respawn’s (now multiplatform!) title is similar in genre, after all…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
