Darksiders: Remaster Is Now Confirmed!

After seeing a leak of Nordic Games‘ plans, they confirmed that the first Darksiders is getting a modernization treatment.

We started 2010 strongly: in the first days of January, we not only got Bayonetta but Darksiders as well. Vigil Games’ game originally launched on PS3 and X360, and a PC port arrived in September that year. However, War, one of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, is now heading to the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the Wii U. The PC version isn’t confirmed yet, but seeing how Darksiders 2 received a Deathinitive Edition (featuring a pun of its protagonist, Death) on this platform, it’s unlikely that Nordic Games skips the PC re-release.

The release date is unknown at the moment, but we had previously seen an October 25 day when the game’s remaster was merely a rumor. However, we certainly hope that Darksiders 3 will follow shortly. After all, only two Horsemen got their game so far, so the story is far from being complete!
