[GC 2016] New Overwatch Animation: The Last Bastion [VIDEO]

Blizzard Entertainment’s multiplayer first-person shooter doesn’t stop with the animations – it’s time for the fifth episode called The Last Bastion.

It goes into the origin story of Bastion for over seven minutes, so Blizzard doesn’t let us go with a quickly edited thirty-second animation. It’s just not their style.

Overwatch continues to expand: in September, a new map called Eichenwalde will arrive. The German name is intentional: the new location is set in a castle in Germany.

Blizzard also makes fun of those players who believe that the fight they just won was too easy. If they type GG EZ into the chat box, the message gets replaced by lines such as „I could really use a hug right now.”, or „I feel very, very small… please hold me…”

Overwatch also focuses on the balance between the characters. The newest patch will change multiple characters, but Genji will get dumbed down the most.

Also, after data mining the patch, it turns out that Blizzard is planning a free trial. Blizzard is sneaky.
