Resident Evil 7 Receives PlayStation 4 Pro Support

Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will support the power of the PlayStation 4 Pro.

We expected this announcement: Capcom seems to support Sony a lot. The new numbered Resident Evil installment already had a PlayStation VR-support confirmation, and now we can put the PS4 Pro next to that. This was confirmed by Resident Evil‘s official Twitter profile.

Don’t forget HDR: Resident Evil 7 will have HDR effects as well. In case you don’t want to upgrade to a PlayStation 4 Pro and just stick to a base or a PS4 Slim model, you will get it regardless. Of course, you will have to install the 4.00 system update to get that, and we wrote about that yesterday. There are much more improvements than what the beta offered!
