Skyrim And Fallout 4 Gets Mod Support On The PlayStation 4 After All

Sony gave up – we’ll be able to modify Bethesda‘s games on the PlayStation 4s, too.

In Bethesda’s statement, we learned that Skyrim Special Edition would be the first to get mods via the Creation Kit. No matter what PlayStation 4 model you have, the mod support will be available regardless of owning a PS4 Slim, or a PS4 Pro. No exceptions.

We will not be allowed to use custom assets (such as textures), but everything else in the game is good to go on PS4, though. To search for mods, you’ll need a Bethesda.net account, just like on Xbox One.

Fallout 4 comes later to use the better lighting and improved graphics on PlayStation 4 Pro, and – just like Skyrim Special Edition – it will have a native 4K resolution.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
