PlayStation 4 Sales Jumped By 380 Percent In The United Kingdom!

The United Kingdom saw a spike of interest in the PlayStation 4 last week!

Sony‘s console had a 380 percent week-on-week climb in sales on the week ending on October 1, according to MCV UK. Out of this massive jump, the classic PlayStation 4 took a 359% share. On top it, the PlayStation 4 had 55% more sold than the Xbox One, despite Microsoft’s console dropping by „only” 16 percent. (However, the week before, the „green” console had a 989 (!) percent increase in sales.) The Xbox One S has 24% more sales than the PlayStation 4 Slim, though.

Why is this sudden spark of interest about Sony‘s console? Well, big retail stores such as TESCO, GAME, ShopTo, and Argos wanted to clear the stocks of the original PlayStation 4. Therefore, they cut the price from 259 GBP to only 149, and they also included a copy of either LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens or FIFA 17.
