Is A Half-Life VR Port In Development? [VIDEO]

Leaks, but this is not the Half-Life 3 you are looking for…

Half-Life is a franchise that has been making us wait for a sequel since 2007. Valve News Network believes that something new related to Half-Life is in development, and it’s not going to be Half-Life 3, either.

Half-Life‘s assets were previously used for some virtual reality experiments, and now that Valve‘s Destinations app is launched, there’s still something suspicious happening. In Destinations, there are leftovers from a project called Half-Life: VR.

In a September 26 update, a „leaked” string was found involving Half-Life: VR with references to all sorts of weapons and other assets. Valve also replaced the original strings, indicating further development had since taken place regarding Half-Life: VR.

It seems likely that Valve will port the first Half-Life game to the HTC Vive.
