Xbox One vs. PlayStation 4: Microsoft Won In September, Too

Xbox One picked up its third victory in a row against Sony‘s console in September.

Is Microsoft picking up the pace? Who knows? One thing is confirmed, though: according to USA’s NPD, Microsoft’s console sold the most, plus it managed to pull the same thing off in the United Kingdom, too. Because of these successes, in a year-by-year comparison, only the Xbox One saw an improvement, because the old model can be bought for pennies – the Xbox One S has taken over the older model’s place. The best-selling „green” game for the month was Forza Horizon 3.

For the PlayStation 4, the PS4 Slim did not bring much of change – most likely, the customers are waiting for the arrival of the PS4 Pro in November.

In the previous console generation, the PS3 started out horribly (and it cost a lot, too), but it ended up catching up to the Xbox 360. Will we see a role reversal this generation?
